First allow me to introduce
myself. My name is Lhusya Afrilia, I'm 21 years old. Currently I'm one of the
final students majoring in information systems at Gunadarma University. Through
this letter I would like to show my interest to continue my graduate program in
the department of B.S. in Web and Information Systems at the New Jersey
Institute of Technology.
I am interested in choosing the
majors because in the current globalization era, everything needs fast, precise,
and accurate information. To get it then there must be someone who is competent
to process the data and become important information for the needy. Therefore,
when enrolling in the lecture I chose the department of information systems. Another
reason I chose this department is the majors that match the majors while
sitting senior high school, the science of nature, where much taught to logic.
I had never before thought to
continue my education abroad, but after I sat on the university bench I began
to think and start dreaming to get a master’s degree of education abroad. therefore,
I am trying to study earnestly in my current lectures. I try to be active by
learning to create apps and web with my friends. I exchange knowledge with my
friends, discuss in a working group.
Motivation and purpose of life
that I have is as much as possible in doing anything that is positive. To
achieve this I focus and earnestly in studying the language at the university
that I choose so I can have a good career in the lecture and when I work later.
I can be a database administrator in a reputable company or a state-owned
enterprise. I want to be someone who graduated from university where I can be a
person who can help for myself, my family, around me, and maybe also for my
country.
My interest in studying abroad
made me start looking for a good university in the field of information systems
and the like. my attention was immediately directed to one of the universities
in America namely the New Jersey Institute of Technology. In the New Jersey
Institute of Technology there are many faculties, the faculty that I definitely
take is the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology where the
field or majors that I want to deepen the information system and website. In my
opinion, this university or institute is especially in the department of B.S.
in Web and Information Systems is highly qualified as it provides an
opportunity for students to research together professors and scholars who are
experts in their field and research conducted with intensive data levels and
human-centered computing. Besides the special reason for myself is at this
university I am sure can develop my way of thinking and knowledge with
international level.
